01Auto-dispatch5cm trigger, guaranteed.
At five centimetres on our Mountain and Ancaster gauges, every truck on your route rolls. You don't call and you don't wait on hold. Commercial sites can set it as low as 1cm.
We're a Hamilton landscaping crew in winter mode. Plazas, clinics, condo boards and driveways get cleared automatically at 5cm, the end of the driveway gets re-done after the city plow, and every visit comes with a time-stamped photo.

Every contract we sign carries the same four guarantees. They're written into the paperwork, not the sales pitch, and each one is logged so you can check we kept it.

02IncludedWhen the city plow buries the end of your driveway in a hard-packed ridge, our return crew comes back and clears it. It's included on every residential pass.
03Liability logA slip-and-fall claim can land 18 months after the storm. Every commercial visit is logged with GPS arrival and departure, before and after photos, and the salt we put down.
04Surface-safeSteel never touches your driveway. Teflon-coated poly cutting edges protect stamped concrete, interlock and fresh asphalt. If we mark it, our summer crew fixes it in April.
This is how a 22cm Tuesday-night storm actually runs, from the first forecast call to the photo in your inbox. No guesswork, and no "we'll get there when we can."

Downtown Hamilton, 2 p.m. The sky is already turning.
Environment Canada models, radar off Lake Erie and our own pavement sensors on the Mountain. Crews get a standby text and both yards switch to storm footing.
Forecast 18–24 cmCommercial lots, ramps and clinic entrances get liquid anti-icer before the first flake, so snow can't bond to the pavement.

Most of our commercial contracts came from property managers who'd been burned once. Here's what they told us after their first winter with us.

Our last contractor showed up when he felt like it. A resident fell in February and Brow & Bay's logs went straight to our insurer. The claim closed in nine days.
I leave for a 7 a.m. hospital shift. The windrow return is the whole reason I signed. The end of my driveway is clear even after the city's been by.
Five clinics, one contract, one log. Patients with walkers are at our doors by 7:30, and we haven't had a slip report in two winters.
We're a grounds company first. When the snow's gone, the same crews and the same supervisor move to turf, interlock and property maintenance. One contract and one phone number, all year.

Drag the handle to see the switch. Same crew, different season.
A supervisor walks your property and comes back within 48 hours with a stacking plan, a salt plan and a fixed seasonal price. Formal RFP? We'll answer it on your paperwork.
A supervisor will call within one business day to set a time. Bring your site plan if you have one. We'll bring the measuring wheel.
Straight answers to what homeowners and property managers ask before they sign.

Every residential pass includes windrow return. City plows usually reach side streets after the main roads, often mid-morning. Our route leads watch for the city pass on every street, and a return crew clears the end of your driveway within 3 hours, up until 9 p.m. Anything later gets done first thing on the morning route. You never have to call.
We plan for it. Above 15cm we switch to storm-cycle clearing: crews make repeat passes during the snowfall so it never gets deeper than a truck can push, then do a full clean-up once it stops. Commercial lots get loader support, and if piles start eating parking stalls we haul them off-site. Residential passes stay unlimited, so a 40cm storm costs you nothing extra.
Yes. Every crew member is WSIB-covered and we carry $5M commercial general liability. We can issue a certificate naming your property or condo corporation, usually the same day. If something gets damaged on our watch (lifted sod, a cracked light, a scuffed garage door), we photograph it and our summer crew fixes it in spring at no charge.
Trigger depth is the accumulation that dispatches us automatically: 5cm on residential passes, and whatever your contract says on commercial sites (many plazas choose 2.5cm, clinics 1cm). Under 5cm we don't plow driveways, but if it's icy or freezing rain is coming, clients with the salting add-on get treated anyway. Zero-tolerance commercial sites get salt at any amount.
No. Every residential truck runs Teflon-coated poly cutting edges on adjustable shoes, so steel never touches your surface. On interlock and stamped concrete we float the blade a few millimetres high and finish with a blower. We also stake your driveway edges in November so nobody chews up the lawn in a whiteout.
Neither. Once you're on a pass, the gauge makes the call. You'll get a text when the truck reaches your street and a photo when we're done. If there's a car in the driveway we clear around it and come back once it's moved. Just text the storm line.
Every visit creates a time-stamped record: GPS arrival and departure, before-and-after photos of entrances and walks, what we applied and how much, and conditions on site. You get it monthly as a PDF, or on demand within an hour. It's the record insurers and lawyers ask for when a claim arrives 18 months after the storm.
We'll put you on the waitlist and call when a route opens near you. Routes sometimes add a truck in January. Commercial sites anywhere from Brantford to Oakville get a site walk regardless.
Yes. Pay in full when you sign up, or in three equal instalments: at sign-up, December 15 and February 15. Commercial contracts bill monthly through the season. All prices are before HST and locked for 2026/27 once you sign.
Routes close as they fill. Lock in this season's price now and your driveway markers go in before the first flake.
